Lessons

Lessons are created in the Library, which is an additional module in itslearning. A library lesson consists of one or more pages, each with one or more sections. Each section may have a media element (picture, sound, video, flash) linked to it, or a multiple choice question. Lessons are added as content in courses, communities or the library.

A lesson can be either finished content or a method template for creating content. A method template can, for example, provide a method for writing a poem analysis. For more information about the library and lessons, see the topic Library.

The Add lesson option is quite similar to the Add content from library option. The difference is that when you add a lesson, you create the lesson from scratch, while when you add content from library you import finished lessons and modules from the library. Both options deal with content stored in the library.
