Administrate communities

Most schools allow the learners to create communities that do not involve teachers. Learners can invite participants and manage the communities on their own. In principle, the communities are a closed area for the community participants. However, to prevent the communities from being abused to unwanted activities, administrators can survey the communities.

To get to the community administration overview, click the Admin tab and choose Communities. Here you can see a list of all the communities, who created them and the number of participants in each. If you need to survey the community, you can use the Add participant function and add yourself as a group participant. Click the Communities tab to enter the community.

Note: The community function should be based on mutual trust between teachers and learners. Even though administrators can access the communities, the communities of the learners should be respected. It should also be noted that the community manager can see if administrators have enrolled themselves in the community.
