Diglib has been updated. The most important changes are listed below.
A new promo box is available on the main page and sub-level pages. The box shows the 20 latest resources in a carousel slider and is automatically updated when new resources are added.
It is now possible to extract SCORM packages to the navigation tree in it?s learning and launch individual items from Diglib.
Diglib was updated with a new version on 7 January 2010. In the future we will post information about software updates and other information concerning the technical part of the Diglib service in this blog.
The start page is made more user-friendly. The old search box is replaced by a new and larger, and the location is changed from the top right corner of the page to below the tabs. You can also search in sub-pages such as Primary, Secondary, and Higher.
It is now possible to specify keywords when adding new resources. This makes it easier for vendors to direct search traffic to their resources. If you add the keyword 'phonetics', your resource will appear when a user search for it in Diglib.
We have introduced an external identifier for site agreements and resources. This allows vendors to match the site agreements and resources with their own internal IDs.
A new report in it's learning for SCORM packages shows a summary of all the learners' progress and result from SCORM packages. The teachers can now see a list of the learners who have access to the package, in addition to status, score, time and number of attempts for individual users.
Vendors can now download a CSV file with statistics showing the number of times each resource has been downloaded. The CSV file prevents the issues some vendors have had with Excel.
Teachers in the VLEs can now see the tracking data from SCORM packages from Diglib.
Included in this release is the last version of the Icodeon player which ensures the best possible playback of SCORM packages.
We are happy to announce that Diglib now supports US language.
